July 5th is a very special day.  Well,  in my opinion anyway,  it’s PSM’s birthday!

So, if you’ve been living under a rock for the last year and a half, then you might not know who PSM is, which would be understandable and acceptable, so I’ll tell ya. 

PSM is my beau of almost a year and a half.  We met last January and we’ve been together ever since. We’ve gone on a few trips together, I may have told you about one or two. One of the trips was for his birthday last year to Nova Scotia, it was great! He said he wanted to go to Iceland this year,  a little difficult to get to from Hawaii, but we’ll get there eventually. 

PSM is one of the smartest people I know who can also be one of the goofiest people ever. He’s adventurous, especially when something is new, I’ve watched him conquer fears, quite impressively, I might add, I’m very proud of that. He’s kind and courteous, loves dogs, I’d say all animals, but he’s allergic to cats. You should see him when he sees a puppy, especially when we were in Europe last year and he was missing his dog, very sweet. 

He loves and is loved by his family and friends, there is nothing they would not do for him, just as he would do for them. You should hear how they talk about him. His friends affectionately refer to him as Boo and all his friends kids call him Boo or Uncle Boo,  go figure!

Sometimes I look at and wonder at him, he’s a walking contradiction he can be shy one minute and a chatterbox the next. He’s an amazing skier, an avid hiker, can get lost in the woods and find his center. He loves yoga, the hotter and harder the better,  go figure. 

There are times he goes out of his way to do something sweet, but it’s the little ways he doesn’t even realize that touch me. I love seeing him in action at work, I see how his coworkers care for and respect him. 

I look forward to many more years of getting to know him, spending more time together, traveling,  experiencing new things and celebrating more birthdays together.
