This is where I tell you about me. I am a 38 year old divorcee, what an ugly word, well, divorce is more of an ugly word, divorcee has a certain air about it, that’s what was used in the movies in the 40’s and people seemed to look upon the woman with reverence or revulsion, so what’s it to be?

I am a recently divorced woman who is starting over and this is a great way to get my thoughts down, and I seem to have a lot of them! Lucky you, for something to read, lucky me, to have an outlet. I was in therapy for a while, it was fantastic, I’m glad people made me go and LD gave me the number of a fantastic therapist. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, i had to stop. Now, I have to say, it was interesting that I tried to stop a while ago, thought I could cut down from twice a month to once a month and then i had a meltdown, but going cold turkey turned out ok. I had cut back because I felt that all I was doing was talking about men and I have girlfriends to do that with, and they come a lot cheaper! I do miss talking to FS, she was fun to chat with and never judged, always knew she had my best interests at heart, even though sometimes it felt like she agreed with everything I said, wait, is that really a bad thing?

What would you like to know about me? A common question on a first date, sometimes a second date and here I sit writing this to you. I am divorced almost two years, never thought that would be me and I am working on renting my house out so I can get the fresh start I really need and deserve and it’s coming. So, dear readers, as you read my blog you will get to know me and who and what I am about.

I want to do movie and book reviews and I’ll throw in some musings about life, love, dating and just existing. I hope you enjoy what I have to say and maybe along the way you will decided who and what I am about for yourselves and then maybe you can tell me.
