Today I had some disappointing news.

Now, I’m not going to tell you what it was, but it was a serious disappointment. The hard part is that there really wasn’t anything I could do about it, I did what I was supposed to, I fixed what I needed to and it still wasn’t enough.

What I’m feeling right now is guilt, that there are so many bigger problems in the world and in my friend’s lives and here I am having a pity party, it won’t last very long, I promise.

In terms of what happened, unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about it now, but as I like to say, there’s always a next time. Next time, look out!
