One of my favorite things to see on Facebook is a movie quote thread.

It starts off with someone posting one line, maybe two, that are famous from a movie and it takes off from there. For example, a very popular one is “As you wish”, which as any diehard fan knows is from The Princess Bride, so the next quote you might see could be “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die” and then the next person would add their quote.

It’s an awesome and fun game, to see if you can think of a line before someone else and make it a good one.

Some others I’ve seen, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Christmas Vacation, Clue, Spinal Tap, but the one that comes up most frequently is Airplane, there is something about that movie that is incredibly memorable to be able to pull up quotes from memory, of course, it’s one people reference in every day life all the time.
